THE OFFICIAL CHARITY PREVIEW PARTY OF FORD ARTS, BEATS & EATS

Arts du Jour is the official charity preview event of Ford Arts, Beats & Eats. The event will take place in Downtown Royal Oak on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. The purpose of Arts du Jour is to raise money and awareness for local charities, while giving attendees a special preview of the 2014 Festival. The event will feature live music performances from four of the bands performing at Ford Arts, Beats & Eats, art exhibits from festival artists, and nearly 50 restaurants serving tastes, including many from the Labor Day weekend festival. The event benefits ten local non-profits by donating 75% of each ticket sold to the charity of the purchasers’ choice.

Arts du Jour is excited to announce a new location for the 2014 event. This year’s event will take place outside the Royal Oak Library on Barbara A. Hallman Memorial Plaza and Veteran Memorial Plaza, just across Troy Street from the Royal Oak Farmers Market. A few restaurants will also be located inside the Library.
